A GENESIS 2:18 MINISTRY

"THE FACT THAT I AM A WOMAN DOESN'T MAKE ME A DIFFERENT KIND OF CHRISTIAN; THE FACT THAT

I AM A CHRISTIAN MAKES ME A DIFFERENT KIND OF WOMAN." -ELISABETH ELLIOTT

A similar statement could be made about being a pastor's wife. She is not a different kind of Christian woman, but she does live a unique life with unique challenges. What is "normal" life for a pastor's wife? Her role is completely subjective with no specific set of responsibilities. Expectations are as varied as the churches she serves and as numerable as the number of members in the congregation. Encouragement for the pastor's wife involves more than a study series, a weekend retreat or conference, a short tweet or an occasional blog. The HELPER is a relational journey through the joys and tears, the triumphs and the heartaches that accompany the ministry adventure.
