Royal Ambassadors

Did you know you are of royal descent? We serve the King of the Kingdom of God. We serve King Jesus. He is the King of all nations (Revelation 15:3) and the Lord of armies (James 5:4). He sits at the right hand of the Father interceding for you and me (Hebrews 1:13). We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works (Ephesians 2:10). We have been made to sit with Him in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). We are a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9). Being a part of the royal court, we have been made ambassadors for King Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:20).

Christ dwells within us by His spirit. An ambassador is one who acts on behalf of someone else. Christ in us is the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27). We are His representatives, or ambassadors, to this world. He gives us the authority to “act on His behalf.”

These are perilous times, and we also know that the enemy has been sent to “wear out the saints” (Daniel 7:25). We must “stir up the gift of God” (2 Timothy 1:6) that is within us and remind ourselves that whatever is going on around us is only temporary. He needs us; We are here on assignment from King Jesus. He wanted us here for such a time as this.

First of all, we are covered by the blood of Jesus. The enemy cannot penetrate the bloodline, so He goes for the atmosphere around us. He fills it with accusations (Revelation 12:10). These accusations bring fear, doubt, skepticism, and hopelessness; however, they are nothing more than lies that are against the knowledge of God.

If we begin to focus more on the situations and circumstances around us instead of the power We must recognize when the enemy is bringing within us, we will be overcome by weariness and burnout. accusations and threats to our minds and remember that we are to cast down these lies and accusations (2 Corinthians 5:10) by speaking the Word of truth (John 17:17). His Word in our hearts becomes like fire shut up in our bones (Jeremiah 20:9).

As ambassadors for King Jesus, we do not have to entertain these imaginations that are weighing us down and encircling our heads like clouds of depression and mourning. Instead, we can lift up our heads and see ourselves wearing crowns of righteousness (2 Timothy 4:8). We have the authority to change the We replace his lies by declaring and atmosphere that the enemy has tried to establish with his accusations. decreeing the Word of the Lord. We cast them down for they are against the knowledge of Jesus Christ. That knowledge is the truth of God’s Word. Satan’s lies can NEVER overcome God’s truth!

The fact is that we certainly face trials, and circumstances come our way that are beyond our control—this is undeniable and should not to be ignored. However, if we believe and operate out of the identity we received in our spiritual birth, we will respond out of the nature of our Father. It is our rightful inheritance to know Whose child we are and that we have His royal blood in our spiritual DNA. We have been born into the kingdom of God. We are now able to operate from our identity in Him. We are the sons and daughters of God and have all the rights and privileges that come with our position!
